James Dabill vertig spain Day 2Two days of competition in Teo, Spain saw the 2015 FIM Trial World Championship come to a close and marked the end of the first season for the prototype Vertigo Combat competing at the highest level. Following this initial campaign, factory Vertigo rider James Dabill can count an almost career best equaling fourth place as his best individual result in the series and eighth spot in the final general standings.

For his younger team mate, Francesc Moret who only competed in selected rounds during the latter part of the season, it was an equally successful year as he twice secured career best ninth places in both Andorra and Portugal.

Image: trialscentral.comAfter the long traditional summer break the 2015 FIM Trial World Championship resumed this weekend with round eight held in Pacos de Ferreira, Portugal. Continuing its path of development with the prototype Vertigo Combat the new factory team had two official riders at the penultimate event of the 2015 series in the form of James Dabill and Francesc Moret.

Francesc Moret riding his prototype Vertigo Combat rounded out the 2015 European Trial Championship with a third place at the final round of the series held at Grimmialp, Switzerland to become vice champion in the overall standings. Moret went into the last counting event tied at the head of the points table thanks to his victory in Belgium just last weekend, but was unable to repeat his triumph and had to concede the title to his Italian rival Gian Luca Tournour who took the victory at the final round.
